Single Barrel Cigar Co. was founded in 2021 in Ybor City, FL aka Cigar City, with the goal to create a new premium cigar that pairs the amazing tasting notes of Whiskey with high-end tobacco. After more than a year of experimenting with different tobacco blends, bourbons and aging processes, a new amazing cigar was finally brought to market by founders Nick Battaglia and Matt Schnell.

What makes Single Barrel Cigars unique is our aging process and patent-pending packaging. We start out by aging our premium cigars in freshly dumped premium bourbon barrels for 8 to 10 weeks. This creates an all-natural infusiion process into the tobacco that gives our cigars a subtle sweetness and smooth finish with notes of sweet bourbon.
No batch is quite alike as we use many different brands of bourbon barrels to age our cigars. Due to climate, humidity and other factors no two batches of cigars come out the same just as you find with single barrel bourbons. After barrel aging we package each cigar in glass tubos with just a pinch of bourbon barrel char to allow for continued aging in the tube. Our barrel char comes directly from freshly dumped whiskey barrel.
We believe this is one of the finest and most unique smoking experiences you will find in the market today. Our Single Barrel Cigars all use 100% long leaf tobacco sourced from Dominican Republic and Nicaragua with the finest Ecuadorian binders to help hold in and project our premium blend. We currently offer 3 unique cigars. A Connecticut wrapped cigar for a softer more subtle smoking experience. A Habano wrapped cigar for a bolder, earthy smoke and a Maduro cigar for our most robust smoking experience with a subtle sweetness on the back. All of our current cigars are Robusto size, 5" x 50, with more sizes coming soon.
